Coachella is probably very close first on my list of things I have to do, the vibe, location and pretty much everything about it draws me into it. So when I was thinking of how to celebrate my birthday, I couldn’t think of anything better than bringing a part of it to me. Ok I didn’t have the weather on my side but this wasn’t going to stop me from having the best day.
I obviously had to use Pinterest for all Sophchella ideas, I mean it’s literally the best for when you’re planning pretty much anything!!! So much inspo. Check out mine below!

Ok back to it, the weather… yes I should of known it wasn’t going to be hot & sunny but I was hopeful, but that let me down so my ideas of lanterns in the garden, tee-pee’s and outdoor funfair games had to come to an end. So I moved it all inside and created the cutest “brunch party” which I was obsessed with! The girls arrived for 1 and we had cocktails to start and chatted for hours. We then had food, Frozé and chatted loads more. I love hosting things like this, I think it’s my favourite thing to do! And I love all the planning that goes into it all, so much fun!
The flowers – I wanted the flowers to stand out, but I wanted the overall look to be made up of light colours. I added mainly white roses & eucalyptus, and a few other coloured flowers to make it pop, I loved this and I thought they came out really well & complemented the theme of the day.
The Details – I got silver edged name places, and hand written menu’s for each guest. My chair was a DIY idea, with Ivy from the garden, I loved this!! & frozé with strawberries. Also what party is complete without pink straws, flamingo stirrers and fruit to infuse your drinks with.
The Dessert – Mmmm dessert is the most important course right? so it had to be yummy! I chose a Salted caramel tart & custard, and of course I couldn’t forget the macaroons, they are my favourite thing ever!! A bit off theme but they had to be there.
I hope you like my Sophchella pics, I can’t wait to plan more things like this, and with Christmas coming up I’ve got lots of ideas in mind! Keep posted for more inspo!
